Give a Second Chance

When Wonder Woman came to us in late October, she was in bad shape. She was severely underweight and suffering from an untreated skin condition, which caused her fur to fall out and her skin to scab. She arrived at our shelter scared and in pain, and she was met with unconditional love from our staff. They snapped into action and started providing Wonder Woman with the high-quality medical care she so desperately needed. She didn't know it, but she had taken the first step in her recovery journey, and thanks to supporters like you, we were able to nurse her back to health.

This is what one month of care at AHS can do for an animal in need! In just 30 days, Wonder Woman has gained about seven pounds. Her skin is improving and her fur is growing back. Best of all, she is currently in a foster home as part of our Foster to Adopt Program!
